Giuseppe Pacelli passed away peacefully in Hamilton, Ontario, on February 6, 2026, at the age of 88. Giuseppe was the beloved husband of Paola (nee Ferrara), with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. A milestone that reflects a lifetime of love, partnership, and unwavering devotion. He was a devoted and proud father to Katia (Greg Rousell), and Mariella (Jason Pacenza). Loving Nonno to Luke Alyssa, and Lauren.
Cherished brother to Leucio (Lucia) Pacelli (predeceased), Assunta (Salvatore Fiorillo) (predeceased), Addolorata Pacelli (predeceased), Edmondo (predeceased) (Elvira Pacelli), Flora (Francesco Iannariello) (predeceased), and Antonio & Teresa Pacelli, and brother-in-law Franco Ferrara (Gabriella pre-deceased). He was predeceased by his loving parents, Michele and Maria Pacelli and his in-laws Eustachio and Bice Ferrara.

Giuseppe was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish. He loved making good wine, and good food. He would spend all summer in his beautiful garden, growing the most beautiful vegetables. Giuseppe loved all sports, especially soccer and cheering for all the Italian teams. He loved to tell a good joke, because he loved to make people laugh. But what brought him the most joy were his three beautiful grandchildren, who will miss Nonno immensely. Luna will miss her favourite Nonno too.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the doctors and nurses in the ICU at Juravinski Hospital. The wonderful care and compassion Giuseppe received during his time with them will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, Ontario, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, located at Highway 20 East, in Stoney Creek. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Cemetery.

In-memory donations can be made to a Charity of Choice, or the ICU in support of the Juravinski Hospital.
