It is with heavy hearts we share that Joseph Martin Passmore passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025 at the age of 67, surrounded by his family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Joe is predeceased by his father Joseph Sr. and mother Marie. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Joanne; his sons Eric (Larissa), Michael (Stephanie), Stephen (Sami); his brother Al (Patti); and his step-sister Cindy (Larry). Joe will be deeply missed by his five grandchildren: Harper, Mackenzie, Marie, Andrew, Nathan and soon-to-be baby girl. He will be missed by his mother in-law Maria and father-in-law Vincenzo (deceased); brother in-laws Dominic (Allison), Sam (Sara), Frank (Enza) and sister in-law Rose (Marino deceased). Joe will be missed by several nieces, nephews, and many lifelong friends. He was a dedicated Dofasco employee of 30 years.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton Ontario. Visitation will be held Thursday May 15th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Cremation has taken place. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
