On the afternoon of December 31st, 2024, Kevin Bruce Clair passed away after a long and hard-fought battle with liver cancer at Juravinski Hospital. He was 70 years young.
Kevin was known to many throughout his life, Father, Partner, Brother, Uncle, Papa, and friend to so many.
Kevin was a motor enthusiast his whole life. From building cars, and bikes to selling cars and riding his bike, this never wavered. He was successful at everything he did, from carpentry with NRB, selling his favorite Ford trucks or, even best, finding the humour or pleasure in every day. He loved to be on his bike, walk his dog and spend time up north. Kevin was very honoured to be a member of Bikers Against Child Abuse (B.A.C.A.) for the last several years empowering children to not feel afraid of the world in which they lived.
There are not enough words to describe how much of a great guy the ‘big guy’ was to us all.
Kevin’s vivacious personality and general love of life was infectious to all that met and knew him. He made you smile, he made you laugh, he made you feel like the most important person in the room. His smiles always hinted at amusement, comradery and mischief all at the same time.
Kevin had a unique way of making every moment memorable filling conversation with laughter and joy. His presence was a reminder of the enjoyment and vibrancy life has to offer. The memories of these interactions will forever bring us smiles and a chuckle when we think of him. Remembering the good times (and there were so many) is a beautiful way to honor his memory.
Kevin is preceded in death by his mother Connie, father John, brothers Mickey and Shane. He is survived and missed by his spouse Laura, brothers Craig (Rhonda) and Randy (Joye), son Mickey Sean (Rachel), grandkids Quin, Kaelin and Ethan, niece Michelle (Kevin), step-daughters Victoria and Danyelle, step-son Kelly (Erin), as well as nieces and nephews Beckie (Jason) and Adam (Julie) and Shannon (Mario), Julie, ex-wife Sharon and his dogs Roscoe and Tilli.
