Born August 11, 1944 in Tashme, BC, passed away suddenly on August 8, 2025 surrounded by family. Pre-deceased by his parents Kiyoto (1958) and Masako (2021).

Beloved husband and best friend of Ruth. Loved brother of sisters Nancy (Heinz), Irene, Miyo, Reiko (Brian (2024)). Predeceased by brothers Bob (2024) and Bob's wife, Wanda (2021) and James (2012). Beloved brother-in-law of Jane (Claude)

Beloved uncle of Christine, Greg (Kelly), Christian (Emily), Mike (Jen), Josh (Laura), Brad (Kelly), Jon (Katie), LB and Susan. Beloved great-uncle of 14.

Koji was a devoted teacher of HWDSB for 25 years. He taught welding at vocational secondary schools: Parkview, Crestwood, and Mountain.

Koji and Ruth enjoyed many sporting events including the Toronto Blue Jays, Hamilton Tiger Cats, AHL Bulldogs and the Hamilton Cardinals. They also enjoyed travelling to Myrtle Beach, Florida and Hawaii, golfing whenever possible.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 1-5 pm at St Naum of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Church, 1150 Stonechurch Rd E, Hamilton.
