It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we share the very unexpected, and sudden loss of Mark. Mark was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a deeply loving grandfather. The Beloved husband of Kathryn for 52 years. The Loving father of Jeramie (Ashley) and Jamie (Derek). The Loving Grandad of Clairissa, Calvin, Tucker, Ellie and Ruby. The Dear brother of Danusia (Donald). Predeceased by his Parents, Seweryn Pietron, and Maria Krystyna (Wodzinsky), and his sister (Sandra) Alexandra Pietron (Cowan). Mark will be sadly missed by his family and friends…
Mark felt honoured to be a member of the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Local 105. He was proud to follow in the footsteps of his father, Seweryn (Sev) Pietron, who was also a member of IBEW Local 105, and in carrying forward the values his father had instilled in him. Mark cherished the lifelong friendships he made, and also felt especially blessed in being a member of the IBEW Senior Members Club, participating in their events, and the sense of belonging that came with it.
Mark was a committed loving husband to Kathryn, and they were blessed to share 52 years of marriage with Love & Laughter, Passion & Patience, and Forgiveness & Faith. To Kathryn (Kathie), Mark was not only her husband but her closest earthly friend and life long companion. The bond they shared was an inspiration to those who knew them — a true example of love and commitment.
One of Mark’s greatest joys was being with his grandchildren. His eyes would light up with every hug, every smile, every story and joke, every adventure, and each bite of ‘fun’ food they would giggle over and share together. His strong faith was the foundation of his life, and his love for family was at the center of everything he did. Mark’s heart was always close to nature. He found peace and happiness in the outdoors, whether he was out fishing, hunting, or simply taking in and appreciating the beauty of nature as God’s creation. These moments brought him joy.
* Words from Kathie: “I have no words to speak what’s in my heart. Mark and I just celebrated our 52nd Wedding. Anniversary. He was my closest earthly friend, who I will Love and Honour always.
* Words from Jeramie: “Through shared activities my Dad was able to instil a deep connection to deer hunting, archery, target practice, firearms, cars and even truck pulls. He taught many lessons. For us, his kids, it was a true love of family, to have pride in our homes, to take responsibility for our own actions and to be thankful to God for all our blessings. In more ways than can be listed, my Dad was a true example of a great man.”
* Words from Jamie: “Daddy, you were my safe place, my gentle guide, the one who showed me the beauty of nature, taught me the joy of fishing, the deep love of family, and the sweetness in everyday life. Thank you for your lessons, your love, and the countless moments we shared. I will carry them, and you, in my heart forever. Love, your Fisher Girl.”
* Words from Danusia: “My brother Mark spent many memorable hours here, hidden up in his favourite tree stand, hoping for that lucky deer.. Though at times the deer outsmarted him, I always knew where to find him ..high in the branches, quietly watching the world go by. Now that Mark has passed, we’ll look even higher when we miss him, knowing he’s taken his perch in heaven, looking out for us all ..from high above. Today I wasn’t ready to say goodbye.. But your memories will never leave my heart.. Love ..your favourite sister,
Danusia❤

While our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we are comforted in remembering the love, laughter, faith, and countless cherished memories we are gifted with. Words of comfort and fond memories of Mark would be appreciated, and may be forwarded to the Family through Bay Gardens Funeral Home at https://baygardens.permavita.com/site/MarekMarkPietron.html.
