Pearl Marie Drew
July 9, 1930 - August 17, 2025
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2025 in Hamilton Ontario at the age of 95.
Pearl was born on July 9th, 1930 in Lyon, France to Charles and Karolyne Fodor. Most of her childhood and early adult life she grew up in Hungary. she immigrated to Canada in the early 1950s with her husband Paul.
Pearl is survived by her children, Yvette, Alice (deceased), Anne (Roger), Susan. Her grandchildren Lisa, Danielle, Amy, Caley and Cody.
I would like to acknowledge Terrence Drew who helped raise her four girls.
I would like to thank all the staff at Juravinski hospital in Hamilton, Ontario for the help and compassion they provided keeping my mother as comfortable as possible during the final days of her life.
Cremation will be taking place at Bayview crematorium in Burlington, Ontario. Pearl’s wishes were not to have any services held in her honour and to be laid to rest quietly and peacefully.
In her honour donations can be made to the Canadian cancer Society in remembrance of her dear daughter, Alice, who passed away in 2002.
