It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Stan Czajkowsky at the age of 52. A devoted husband to Kim (née Strong), and a loving father to Daniel and Emily, who were his greatest joy.

Son of the late Walter and Nellie Czajkowsky, Stan is also the cherished son-in-law of Don and Lauraine Strong. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Tammy (Stuart), his brother-in-law Brad (Kenzie), and his nieces and nephew, Mikayla, Madison, Kalaya, Keanna, Natasha and John. Stan is predeceased by his older brothers, Peter and James, whose influence and memory held a meaningful place in his life.

Stan was known for his kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness. He had a genuine gift for noticing the needs of others and offering help where he could. When thrifting with his children, he often picked out items he knew a friend or family member would love—an act that perfectly captured his giving spirit.

Professionally, Stan worked as an inspector for the Hamilton Street Railway (HSR). He was respected by colleagues and appreciated for his integrity, dedication, and strong work ethic.

Music was one of Stan’s greatest passions. A talented multi-instrumentalist, he enjoyed playing his guitars, mandolins, trombone, and many others. In recent years, he began writing his own songs, gifting his family with heartfelt melodies. His beloved “cottage song,” performed during the family’s annual cottage week away, will forever remain a treasured memory.

Stan’s warmth, strength, and gentle heart were an inspiration to all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, on Thursday, December 11th from 2 p.m. till 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. till 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, 63 Highway 20 East, Stoney Creek, on Friday, December 12th at 11 a.m. Following the Mass, burial will take place at Chapel Hill Cemetery.

As per Stan’s wishes, in lieu of flowers, a donation to Cystic Fibrosis Canada would be greatly appreciated.
